SOFT's client located in Newark, NJ is looking for aTalent Acquisition Sourcer/Recruiter for a long term contract assignment to serve as a diversity talent sourcer for diversity focus areas and target groups.

Responsibilities include:
  • Reporting to the Workforce Development Manager, sourcer will develop and support appropriate sourcing strategies and action plans based on the organizations’ open positions and the long-term need of the businesses.
  • Create strategic partners and relationships with diverse organizations that serve diversity focus areas and target groups (i.e., women in union roles, individuals with disabilities, etc.).
  • Interface with Line of Business Management in support of their sourcing activities to attract females, people of color, individuals with disabilities and veterans. Support local management in hiring initiatives.
  • Collaborates with recruitment staff and leadership to implement best practices for sourcing strategies, maintain an innovative approach to how this can be successfully accomplished using all available tools and resources.
  • Track outreach to diverse community partners to measure which relationships are the most effective. Track and record referrals and communications with each organization to facilitate reporting.
  • Own candidate relationships all the way to the point of an interview. Recommend and drive improvements with recruiters and interviewing teams to effectively screen and assess talent.
  • Coordinate and participate in career fairs, diversity-sourcing events/initiatives.
  • Deliver results with little supervision and effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and candidates.
