SOFT's client located in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a Messaging Engineer - Exchange / O365 for a long term contract assignment.

Qualifications:
  • Seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our National IT – End User Services (EUS) Messaging and Productivity team. 
  • The Software engineer will provide technology leadership and expertise for various aspects of the client’s email and Office Suite, focused on providing sustained high availability and a positive customer experience.
  • Undertakes complex projects requiring specialized technical knowledge. 
  • May assume project manager responsibilities. Coordinates with users to determine requirements. 
  • Assists with ensuring system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and two to four years’ experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 
  • Combined minimum 3-4 years' of previous Exchange and and other mail gateway (IronPorts/ZIX/Symantec) experience is required. 
  • Must have real-world, hands on experience delivering messaging and collaboration solutions utilizing Microsoft Exchange and or other Office 365 services within large complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 in an Enterprise environment – particularly Exchange Online, administrating Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online and administrating O365. O365 Security, advanced Microsoft Office support experience and Microsoft Powershell scripting experience is preferred Knowledge of communication and collaboration administration (Outlook/Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and/or GSX administration).
  • Working knowledge with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directory integration. 
  • Domain Name Service (DNS) and mail exchange record management knowledge. Working knowledge of authentication, identity, and access management technologies. 
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of clients and Information Technology management and staffs throughout the System is required
