SOFT's client located in Remote is looking for an SDET - Selenium Automation Engineer for a long term contract assignment.

Qualifications:
Education/Requirements/Technical Competencies: 
  • 5+ years’ experience with software development and/or testing 
  • 4 year college degree (preferably computer software related) (preferred) 
  • 3+ years’ experience creating and executing automated test scripts (required) 
  • Experience FitnNess for Appian or Appian Selenium API (required) 
  • Experience Appian logging (required) 
  • Experience using Logging frameworks like DLA, Splunk, Log4J (required) 
  • Experience writing and executing API and Webservice Tests using Java libraries, SpringBoot, Junit, TestNg (required) 
  • Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries (required) 
  • Experience with Selenium - webdriver or similar automation tools (required) 
  • Experience with IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code, Postman, ReadyAPI, REST APIs, JSON, SOAP/XML, HTTPS etc (required) 
  • Hands on experience with issue tracking software (JIRA/Azure Devops) (required) 
  • Hands-on experience with Unit, Integration, UI testing techniques. (required) 
  • Experience testing Java based applications (required) 
  • Experience with Object oriented programming in Java (Required) 
  • Experience working on Teams committed to AGILE principles and concepts (required) 
  • Experience with Behavior (BDD) and Test Driven (TDD) development/testing concepts (preferred) 
  • Experience in developing feature files using Gherkin syntax/cucumber tool. (preferred) 
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and customer service skills (required) 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (required) 
  • Strong team player and self-starter (required) 
  • Proficiency with knowledge transfer/collaboration with other automation engineers 
  • May require occasional extended hours for testing new systems, problem resolution, and completion of priority projects required)
