SOFT's client located in New York, NY is looking for a Human Resources Analyst - Compensation / HRIS for a long term contract assignment.
Qualifications: - At least two years of HR operations experience – ideally in Compensation or HRIS
- Analytical skills and comfort collecting, manipulating and drawing insights from large amounts of data in Excel
- Ability to document processes in current state and identify and track improvements
- Strong organizational skills and effective prioritization to manage multiple requests from many areas
- Discretion in handling confidential data
Responsibilities: - Provide general support to Recognition team, including day-to-day compensation activities, year-end processing and recognition program revamp
- Prepare various process documentation for Recognition team
- Gather peer and internal equity compensation data for offers – looking at census reporting to pull comparable roles by title, level, etc. so that Recognition Partner has good starting point to consult with clients on offer recommendation
- Similarly, review job level info against current employee data and against market data before Recognition Partner finalizes level
- Proactive reporting to People Engagement Partners, Talent Acquisition and potentially Business Group leaders (both in short-term using current systems and once we move to Workday in July)
- Develop SharePoint (or other) tracking process for various steps in job leveling, offer and approval
- Assist with Recognition Program revamp project including RFP with Procurement – reporting, organizing responses, other work TBD
