SOFT's client located in Remote - NYC Metro is looking for a Procedure Analyst - IV&V for a long term contract assignment. Duties/Deliverables: · A comprehensive report detailing the findings from the review of the IV&V processes, artifacts, deliverables, and standards, including a gap analysis. · A set of recommendations for enhancing the IV&V framework, focusing on process improvements, artifact and deliverable quality, and standards alignment. · A set of updated/additional templates for key deliverables, including: • Project Justification Documents (PJDs) • Project Implementation Plans (PIPs) • Requirement Document • Requirements Traceability Matrixes (RTMs) • IT test plan • Progress Reports (Quantitative and Qualitative/Project metrics/projects) · Comprehensive guidelines for each of the deliverables. These guidelines will ensure project managers complete the deliverables with the highest quality and completeness. Additionally, the deliverables should meet all the requirements and specifications, enabling efficient achievement of the deliverable objective. · Clear and well-defined standards for the IV&V review process, including LIPA’s review of the quality and completeness of deliverables to ensure that the final deliverable meets the necessary criteria for success based on best practices. · An implementation plan for the recommended enhancements, including prioritization and timelines. Required Expertise: · 7+ years as a Technical Writer. · Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, creative writing, English, or related field or equivalent work experience. · Experienced IT/process practitioner to provide Independent Validation and Verification of the completeness and quality of project artifacts and deliverables, Processes supporting specific areas and systems of interest such as Finance, Accounting, Utility Operations, Asset/Work Management, Customer Service, Grid Management, Warehouse Management, Distribution Systems Management/Automation, Telecommunication, Organizational Performance/Benchmarking, Enterprise Content/Record Management, Physical/Cyber Security, Information Technology, Business Systems, System Resilience, Business Continuity Planning, Emergency Response Planning, Energy Efficiency, Utility Rate design and Implementation, etc. · Experience Independent Validation and Verification of the completeness and quality of project artifacts, deliverables and processes supporting specific areas and systems of interest. o Areas could include: Finance, Accounting, Utility Operations, Asset/Work Management, Customer Service, Grid Management, Warehouse Management, Distribution Systems Management/Automation, Telecommunication, Organizational Performance/Benchmarking, Enterprise Content/Record Management, Physical/Cyber Security, Information Technology, Business Systems, System Resilience, Business Continuity Planning, Emergency Response Planning, Energy Efficiency, Utility Rate design and Implementation, and other · Understand and explain complex technical concepts. · Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines. · Excellent technical writing skills · Excellent verbal communication skills · Good working knowledge of MS Office
