SOFT's client, located in Allentown, PA (hybrid) is looking for a SCADA Engineer for a long term contract assignment. There is a possibility of remote if necessary.
Skills / Experience: - Develop settings for substation projects using existing RTU standards
- Create point assignment sheets and review with substation design engineers
- Understand and apply communication standards set by network engineers to substation designs
- Troubleshooting data/communication issues with system operators and Relay Test personnel.
Required Skills: - SCADA experience required
- Computer engineering
- data exchange between devices
- hands-on experience with communication protocols and data registers
- comfortable with LUA programming language and PLC ladder logic,
- understand network topology
