SOFT's client located in Allentown, PA is looking for a Communications Coordinator for a long term contract assignment.

Job Summary
Client is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Communications Coordinator to support a wide range of internal and external communications initiatives. This entry-level contract role is ideal for a communications professional with a passion for storytelling, brand consistency, and organizational engagement.

Key Responsibilities
· Draft and edit content in line with company style guide and tone including:
o Articles, blogs, letters, and talking points
o Web and social media content
o PowerPoint presentations and internal communications
· Post and manage content on the company’s intranet, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
· Support communications for internal departments, covering activities, events and latest news.
· Help maintain brand consistency across all channels and materials.
· Distribute news releases and coordinate monthly communications KPIs.
· Assist with special projects and cross-functional communications efforts as needed.

Qualifications
Required Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.

Required Experience:
· 0-2 years of experience in a communications role.
· Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook) and social media tools.
· Excellent organizational and project management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Collaborative mindset and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
· Demonstrated experience through internships or academic projects.
· Experience with SharePoint or intranet content management systems.
· Understanding of corporate communications and brand voice.
