SOFT's client located in Newark, NJ (hybrid) is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist for a long term contract assignment. The Sourcing Specialist will serve as a diversity talent sourcer, focusing on outreach and recruitment of diverse groups. Responsibilities include: • Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Sourcing, sourcing specialist, will develop and support appropriate sourcing strategies and workforce development initiatives based on the organizations’ open positions and long-term workforce needs. • Create strategic partner relationships with diverse organizations that serve diversity focus areas to attract, hire and retain talent. • Collaborates with recruitment staff and leadership to implement best practices for sourcing strategies, maintain an innovative approach to how this can be successfully accomplished using all available tools and resources. • Track outreach to diverse community partners to measure which relationships are the most effective. Track and record referrals and communications with each organization to facilitate reporting. • Coordinate and participate in outreach events/initiatives (live & virtual) 10-20% travel. • Deliver results with little supervision and effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects. • Support other strategic sourcing team initiatives as needed (e.g., summer internship program) General Information • Skilled TA professional with 8+ years of targeted sourcing experience with a large employer • Demonstrated experience in building strategic partnerships with diverse organizations, education systems • Demonstrated examples working with workforce development boards and vocational/technical schools • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Strong analytical, written, and verbal skills • Applicant tracking systems background; a plus if experience with Success Factors, emPower, SAP & SharePoint, Power BI • Independent, energetic, team player, inquisitive spirit • Accustomed to interacting with senior management |
