SOFT's client, located in Waltham, MA is looking for an IT Contracts Manager for a long term contract assignment. This role is primarily remote, but candidates need to be commutable to Waltham for occasional on-site meetings.

• 5+ Years Experience reviewing / redlining complex IT Contracts
• Strong understanding of technology related legal terms and procurement processes
• Strong negotiation skills

The role will be responsible for managing Statement Of Works for the IT Networking, Telecom category, including Professional Services, SaaS and Hardware. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in reviewing, drafting, redlining and interpreting complex IT contracts and ensuring alignment with company policies, risk tolerance and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Review, draft and redline a wide range of IT Networking agreements, statement of work, including software licenses, professional services, hardware and professional services
• Collaborate with vendor, legal, cybersecurity and business stakeholders to align contract terms with company goals and compliance requirements
• Analyze contract language for risk, obligations, liability, service levels and cost control
• Support contract negotiations at Statement Of Work level ensuring terms are commercially sound and legally compliant
• Use Ariba Contract Software system to log all contract records and ensure timely renewal, compliance and reporting
• Tract contractual obligations, milestones and deliverables to ensure vendor performance and accountability
• Provide guidance of contract terms to stakeholders as required

Qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience managing IT contracts and SOWs
• Strong understanding of technology-related legal terms and procurement processes
• Demonstrated ability to draft, redline and interpret complex IT contracts independently
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills
• Experience with using Ariba contract module
