SOFT's client located in Remotely is looking for a Cost Analyst / Project Manager - Governance Support for a long term contract assignment.

B. Project Overview
Client needs a Cost Analyst with Program Management and Governance experience to serve in a consultant role for the client's separation effort between existing and newly acquired business units. The consultant will assist client with the Monthly Capital Spending Analysis and shall prepare and deliver a report that will describe and discuss system separation capital spending details provided by clients SAP system of record.

The candidate will also drive existing program governance and weekly meetings to ensure that the program remains on track and any risks/issues and/or decisions are quickly escalated to executives.

C. Basic Scope of Subcontractor Work

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Overall spending to date of software application bundles that are being separated.
§ Overall spending by category of each application bundle vs. acquisition budget vs. client budget.
§ Any accrual discrepancies or capital financial reporting inaccuracies by application bundle.
§ Tracking PO payments by application bundle.
§ Other analysis as directed by client.


D. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Business is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Minimum 5-10 years of experience working in systems integration, enterprise IT migrations or large-scale system separation.
· Experience with multi-stakeholder environments (vendors, integrators, internal teams, regulators)
· Experience with utility capital expenditures and accounting methods and processes is a plus.
