SOFT's client located Remotely is looking for a Release Manager for a long term contract assignment.

Release Manager:
The NIT Release Manager will provide oversite, scheduling, coordination, communication, and support in the release of software deployments, upgrades and patches/bug fixes for the servers supported by National IT. They also contribute to operational improvements, and support our critical customers move to the Cloud and Colo.

Responsibilities:
Provides collaborative or consultative work of varying complexity in areas of technology related strategic direction
and support, problem resolution, and translating and executing business requirements for assigned IT business
areas. Directs methodologies and measures to ensure appropriate processes and procedures are effective and meet IT standards. Coordinates, plans, and executes solutions to meet needs of clients, work teams and/or internal or external organization management groups. May collaborate and/or coordinate with cross functional teams.
Experienced level position requires developing career in field and gaining knowledge of industry practices.
