SOFT's client located in New York, NY ( Hybrid ) is looking for a Project Manager – Managed Print Services (MPS) for a long term contract assignment.
Project Manager – Managed Print Services (MPS)
The Project Manager for Managed Print Services (MPS) will oversee printer deployment projects, coordinate installations and refresh rollouts, and ensure smooth delivery of print services across the organization. This role will manage and monitor service tickets, review backlog items, and work closely with users, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. The position requires hands-on experience with Managed Print Services, strong operational knowledge, and the ability to drive continuous service improvements. Proficiency in Power BI for reporting and performance tracking, as well as ServiceNow for ticket and workflow management, is essential. Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills are critical for success in this role. Experience and understanding of Networks (WAN, LAN, Wireless, etc.), IPT, Mobility, and other shared technical service areas is also required.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end printer deployment, replacement, and refresh projects.
• Coordinate with business users, vendors, and technical teams for printer installations and support.
• Monitor ServiceNow ticket queues and ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.
• Review and reduce backlog items through prioritization and follow-up.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to track service performance, SLA metrics, and project progress.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within print services.
• Maintain asset inventory, device lifecycle planning, and deployment schedules.
• Partner with Network, IPT, Mobility, and other shared service teams to support printer connectivity and integrations.
• Troubleshoot printer-related connectivity issues involving LAN, WAN, wireless, and mobile printing environments.
• Escalate recurring issues and coordinate corrective actions with vendors or support teams.
• Provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and service delivery excellence.
