SOFT's client is looking for a Payroll Tax Specialist for a long term contract assignment. Candidates local to Charlotte, NC are preferred.

The selected candidate will be responsible multi-state payroll tax filings. Experience with ADP Smart Tax Compliance is required along with the ability to conduct tax research on US based localities.

Requirements include:

5 - 7 years of functional experience
Advanced knowledge in general payroll and tax rules, regulations and processes
Experience with manual state payroll tax filings
Very good communication skills (oral and written)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Good planning and organizing skills
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and other professional software as required).
