SOFT's client, located in the Bronx, NY is looking for a Help Desk consultant for a long term contract assignment.
The selected candidate will serve as a member of the Information Technology Team, performing a variety of tasks relating to software, hardware and network infrastructure, reporting to the IT HelpDesk Manager. There is some travel to local offices. A vehicle is not required.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Delivery and installation of mobile devices (iPhone, JetPack), Chrome & Windows workstations, laptops, printers, network equipment, cabling, connectors, hubs, switches, routers and other equipment as required throughout the agency;
• Troubleshooting and debugging services on all network systems, hardware, software and related problems;
• Serving as a knowledgeable and helpful resource to all staff regarding ongoing IT concerns
• Administrative duties, such as monitoring and updating the HelpDesk Ticketing system and further documentation, telephone and video support.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION:
HS Diploma + College degree in field of computer science and/or 2+ years of equivalent work experience, as well as A+ Certification
